Flexible Partitioning and Storage Optimisation

Partition Manager 11 pro lets you resize partitions directly on the Disk Map using the drag-and-drop technique. It also allows you to merge partitions, consolidating disk space from two adjacent partitions (NTFS, FAT16/FAT32), into one single, larger partition. By using the new PAT, or Paragon Alignment Tool, you can increase free space on one partition by utilising the on-disk unallocated space and the unused space of other partitions. Boost your PC’s storage performance by aligning partitions to physical disk sectors. Thanks to the updated NTFS and FAT defragmentation options, you can also defrag your disks using 27 different strategies, including MFT defragmentation and shrinking, low free space defragmentation (less than 1% of the free space required).

Migration and Restoration

Use the Partition Manager to protect or migrate Windows systems online with Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (MS VSS) or Paragon Hot Processing. The Manager also offers a wide range of restoration options, including restoring your OS after an unsuccessful migration or virtualisation with 3rd party tools. Easily extract files and folders from a backup image through the Restore Wizard without having to restore an entire image. The wide list of restoration options include: P2V, P2V Restore, V2P, V2V, P2P, migration of Windows 7installed on .vhd.

Boot and Back up

Paragon’s latest partition tool also allows you to easily manage several operating systems on one computer using the improved Boot Manager, as well as adding new drivers smoothly and easy with its Smart Driver Injector. The updated Disaster Recovery for Apple Boot Camp helps you protect dual-boot Macs from the Windows side or in the Linux or WinPE 2.1 recovery environments. The Boot Corrector also helps you fix most system boot problems that result from human or programme error, or a boot virus activity.
